Tssssssssssssh hissed as steel melted and sparks rained around Vee’s feet. The eradicator droid looked down to the powerful pulsating purple energy blade that protruded out its chest before turning its attention across the way to Baontun who was still locked in a standstill with Klaus. Baontun, though, looked at Vee with eyes wide while his arms began to shake slightly. Vee then spoke with its voice glitching and skipping through various tone shifts.
“<Baontun… zzzt… I, er, I, I muh-missed…zzzt… missed… zzzt… I muh-missed a… zzzt… a, a, a… zzzt… zzzt… a variable, a var-variable—”
The radiating purple blade cut up to Vee’s left before violently hacking down to the right slicing the droid in two. There in the wake, a woman, Ravena Damore who donned gold survival-mail with her long brown hair shimmering in the breeze, stood with the purple energy blade emanating from her right fist. She looked upon the popping and hissing remains of Vrut-92r before slowly turning her attention up across the street to Baontun whose eyes were narrowed in a burning gaze with her. A loud suctioning hiss accompanied the blade pulling up and merging with her energy arm. Baontun let out a shaky breath of closure.
However, Klaus acted in the growing uncertainty and delivered a fierce headbutt to Baontun. The Drespin’s nose broke, his grip on Klaus’ fist released, and Klaus clocked back his freed hand before unleashing an ungodly body shot fueled with kinetic Thrust. The force was barely visible to the eye but was so powerful that it sent a bone-rattling shockwave through Baontun’s body. He didn’t move for a second as his eyes gradually locked with Klaus’, however, the ground around him cracked at first before completely cratering beneath him, and then the nearly 230-pound Drespin was launched back and through the wall of a building.
“Oooo-AHHHHHHHH!” Grap’rik yelled as he flew through the air at Ravena with fists clenched above his head that he swung down on her.
Revena didn’t even bother to turn to him, but instead, a second and third energy arm constructed from her right side, as the first caught Grap’rik by the jaw before the second delivered a vicious punch that connected with the right side of his face. Grap’rik immediately was plowed into the ground behind Ravena who then slowly turned around where she stood over him. The additional two arms then began pulling back to the original energy arm while the pulsating energy blade started to materialize down toward Grap’rik, but it stopped as a shrieking scream erupted off behind Ravena and she quickly spun around.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHH!” Velliyah roared as she backhanded Kyra to the ground before charging up behind Klaus where she jumped onto his back.
Klaus whipped his head back as he felt Velliyah land on him before she viciously grabbed his hair with her left hand and his jaw with her right. Velliyah’s face contorted with her eyes growing large and pupils thinning to slits while her mouth opened and jaw dislocated, and Klaus was forced to look at her as she turned his head to her. Kyra held the back of her head as she struggled up to her feet and turned her attention to what was happening, as she saw the scorching spread up Klaus’ arms while Velliyah’s long white hair fanned up in a pulsating shimmer.
A deep crimson glow then began pulling off of Klaus as it funneled into Velliyah’s mouth, and Kyra started to limp toward them as she muttered to herself, “No, no, no, no…”
Ravena took a step back, positioning herself in front of Farah who was still unconscious, as she saw Klaus catch fire while Velliyah proceeded to drain soul aura from him. Klaus reached up with burning hands and grabbed her forearms as he let out a guttural growl, only for Baontun to emerge from the crumbling building he was knocked into.
Kyra now pushed herself to hurry toward her fiancé, seeing a powerful crimson glow emanating from his chest, and she screamed, “KLAUS!”
“No!” Ravena gasped, raising her energy arm out in front of her and channeling her soul to push forth a shimmering purple force field just as a shockwave released from Klaus.
Like a sonic boom, the shockwave cracked the ground around Klaus before a bright flash erupted and was followed by a powerful explosion of Blaze, the living-energy flame - Super Nova. Kyra’s skin instantly transformed to steel before she was struck by the fire, and it spread like a massive explosion of nuclear energy. The buildings in the immediate area faded to ash and rubble while the ground churned from the kinetic force that displaced in the blast. Sound itself appeared to have been blown away, and only a high-pitched ringing lingered in its absence as vision gradually returned from the whiteout in at first the form of blurriness before complete sight.
Smoke and dust filled the air as Kyra scrambled to her feet. Her skin slowly reverted back from steel with it steaming from the radiation of Blaze, and she called out, “Klaus?” and she quickly spun around at the sound of rubble crunching, only to see a burning silhouette out before her.
Her lower lip quivered as she slowly moved toward the monstrous being which burned with the living energy, and it was as she got within twelve feet of him that she noticed the skeleton hanging upon his back. Klaus rolled his shoulder with the bones falling from him where they hit the ground around his feet and he let out one of the loudest and deepest growls Kyra had ever heard.
Kyra stopped within his presence while his back was still to her, and she softly called, “Kuh-Klaus?”
She saw the muscles in his back tense down as he stood up straight, and slowly his head slightly turned to look back over his shoulder to her with his eyes burning crimson.
